A heat pipe is a hermetically sealed tube that transfers heat over long distances, from point A to point B, by means of the fluid contained within it, known as the “heat transfer fluid”.
The heat pipe highlights 2 principles of material state change: condensation and evaporation. The fluid contained passes from a gaseous to a liquid state.
