D.A.T.E.

HISTORY

Leader in heat exchangers and heat transfer systems.

As an engineering and manufacturing company, our core business is the study, modeling, design, and production of high-tech, custom-made heat exchangers.

Société Ingénierie Echangeur Thermique
A heat exchanger is a system that transfers thermal energy from one fluid to another. The goal is to heat, cool, or maintain a constant temperature. Our core business is the manufacturing of complex exchangers for high-tech markets.
Our history
1979: Creation of D.A.T.E.

The company was established by a group of five engineers, specializing in heat pipes for plastic injection molds and foundry applications.
1981: Strategic partnership with ALSTOM

D.A.T.E. stands out for its collaboration with ALSTOM, designing embedded heat exchangers for cooling power electronics. This major project marked its entry into critical technologies for the energy and aerospace sectors.
1985: Expansion into aerospace and defence

The company develops heat exchangers with THALES for heat dissipation and with LEONARDO for radar cooling equipment. These projects impact over 770 aircraft, strengthening D.A.T.E.'s position in defense and aerospace.
1986: Medical and cryogenic innovations

A medical breakthrough was achieved with the design of medical probes using -80°C descents in N2 or CO2 for cardiac surgeries, involving the creation of a cold spot at the end of endoscopes through the Joule-Thomson effect. The company is also involved in a cryogenic project for CERN, developing plate heat exchangers for scientific research. It has developed cryogenic plate exchangers, utilizing the results of thermodynamic calculations.
